CampusUSA stumbled when rolling out new credit cards in October 2008. They were not ready to switch to the new card services, took some time to move records to their online banking site, and now nearly a month later still cannot provide online transfers of credit card balances into Quicken accounting software. Card Services Manager Vicky Barahona terms this an inevitable "minor glitch," but customers who use online banking have no choice other than to use their keyboard to enter each transaction into their Quicken software separately. This is labor-intensive, time-consuming, and a big step backward from earlier support for card services from CampusUSA. Poor management!
My husband and I were at FCU when we bought a car and financed it through Campus USA. The staff at Campus was so nice, we decided to open an account, and what a difference! Their staff is friendlier, their banking app is better, their drive thru is quicker, and we have not had any "surprise!" fees like FCU used to charge us. In fact, we got our first personal loan here without any hassle at all. This is a great place to open your first, or any, account.
