I called them after hurricane Harvey and ask for allowance to make my payment late because i had so many damages. I was told no problem. However it was a problem 4 days after the payment was due which was September 1st I start getting calls and demand of payment. Then letter threatening to send me to collection began coming. Keep in Mind I was never ever late or miss a payment before this situation. The customer service each time was horrible they just keep asking me how I want to pay. As soon as I recover from Hurricane Harvey I will be moving this account.
I wish that I could give a negative star rating. This company is beyond horrible. This account went to collections. I have settled the account but it is still showing on my credit report. The first time that I called to report the error, the representative hung up on me. The 2nd time, they told me that I had the wrong department, refused to transfer me to the right person, then gave me the wrong number. The 3rd time, they gave me the right number to another person that hung up on me. This is ridiculous. I just want to get this resolved.
My monthly statments came 4 months after making 4 monthly payments and now they dont send anything at all.. i have to reset my password every time i log in and on the transaction history link there no information about anything.. but the make a payment link works for damn sure works. They made sure of that... after this accounts paid, im done with fortiva. If im in over my head with bills, this company will be the first account i wont pay or i could just buy a boat load of beer with my crazy high $120 monthly payment too.
I was approved for credit.. I will be reporting this to BBB as well. I declined the credit yet some how ended up with $235 debt. Called the company whom applied for the card, it showed a refund due to Customer declination. I called to request them to delete the history from my report..they agreed to ...(management can delete the history immediately - btw) Fortiva wants me to wait 60-90days!!! For their discrepancy??!!! I am being denied other opportunities due to their error!!
Extremely agitating! Could not get simple questions concerning interest rates, loan adjustment for lesser amount than offered with lower loan payments. Individuals sidestepped me to another department rather than resolve issue; ie, wanted to provide additional information on line or phone but unable to do so so must wait 10 days? to complete form. Would rather have wrapped this up today, but may have to go through another service to reciprocate loan.
Talked with a supervisor named Craig from here and this guy was possibly the rudest person I ever had to deal with. He would not let me talk what so ever and would keep talking over me. It took me 10 minutes to get his managers name after asking him multiple times he kept refusing to tell me. I wish I would have known how these people do business before hand. I thought someone should at least give a heads up.
I was in a great dilemma and the folks at Fortiva really helped me a lot. Everyone that I spoke with was very helpful and when they said someone would call me back, it really happened!!. I have never dealt with a company that was so professional, understanding, and I felt just genuinely concerned about their customers satisfaction. I commend the great folks a Fortiva for great customer service.
I bought Furniture from Ashley Furniture on a sale with differed interest for 6 months. They would not honor the differed interest and continued to charge interest for the 6 mo. I could not get it resolved. Even the store tried to clear up the matter at no avail. There were financing offers on the table I should have chosen over Fortiva.
Absolutely HORRIBLE to do business with! Do not apply with them EVER! I had an issue where I needed some help from a debt management program. They agreed to repayment and have black marked me every single month despite getting double the minimum payment under the plan. Steer clear of this lender at all costs!
Worst company ever! First they screw me over on the interest rate they said they would give me, so I say I want to pay off the whole amount and 2 months later they call and tell me I did not pay it all off and now charge me a late payment fee on top of it. I will never do business with this company again.
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!! It is Not only bad their high anual fee,APR HIGH and maintenance fee every month. Their Web Page do not show your transaction , only the total . So you will get confuse alot. Their costumer service sucks.. . This credit card It is the perfect Scam!!! Stay away
Is the worst bank in the world and the stakes are extremely high for every purchase you charge interest and interest is amazing
Ive had this loan for one month and i payed on time, however when i use the loan, my credit score drops 50 or more points. I went for 700 plus credit score to low 500 because of the loan with no late payment
The only bright side to this scam artist company is that you WANT to pay your loan off quickly so youll never have to deal with their backwards systems and terrible customer service.

Fast. Easy. Painless. Approved in minutes. $ deposited in a few days. I set up automatic payments so I virtually have had to do nothing. Great company. Love it

I took a loan with fortiva through my dentist for an emergency surgery and wish i had read their reviews because these people are the worst!!
