Enerbank desperately needs a website that allows the consumer, to monitor payment history as well as the balance owed. If you are someone who likes to communicate with a live customer service representative then Enerbank is NOT for you. Initially I opened an account to get the first half of Security Screens installed. When it came time to install the other half, I was told my account was closed and paid in full, since Enerbank refused to give the same terms as before (which was pay off within 1 yr. without any finance charges) I financed through another source. Three months later, I was Told I owed $545.45 and to make matters worst- they reported it to credit agencies then refused to do their OWN investigation on who gave out misinformation, further, the so-called ‘senior’ collections agent (Camille) Refused to tell me any supervisors name. Long story short, I paid off the $545. That day- now I suppose I will have to deal with the credit reporting agencies to get my credit score back to its original excellent score.
The main problem I have with EnerBank USA is they need to enter the modern era as far as bill paying. I have set up an auto payment - that is fine, but if I want to make an additional payments I must mail a check and have no idea when that arrives or is processed, sometime there seems to be too large a gap in the dates. They do not have an On-Line system of payment nor anyway of verifying balances. You must call the service to obtain a balance or have full report mailed. When I called several days after a payment had posted (cleared my bank), the service agent gave me a balance that did not reflect the last payment. They must work from different databases. I closely monitor and track all my finances and this is a very frustrating.
Hi Andy, I have been communicating with your Contractor Disputes Dept and have repeatedly requested confirmation of payment previously sent to the Contractor, as well as my account to be placed back on hold until a meaningful remedy can be determined. Once after these requests have been addressed, I will revisit these comments. But until I get a pro-active approach from EnerBank as reassured when I had first taken out our loan, this review will stand.

If you want to get screwed then use this company. They claim to be a bank, but cannot process credit/debit card payments, they have no online payment options and in order to find any info on your account you must call in and talk to someone. Customer service is always rude and no one that works there will answer a question directly, all responses are from a script. Worst experience with a bank/lending agency ever!
I just refinanced my house and included them into my loan to pay off. When calling them to get a balance pay off they quote me $800 in interest to pay them off since I did not pay them off in the first year I am held responsible for all that interest. DO NOT USE THEM FOR LOANS THEY LIKE TO SCREW PEOPLE THEY ARE HORRIBLE!
This company has no online resources, no online bill pay directly to the company, nowhere to view your balance, fees for calling in payments, and will not email, they will only call with responses to simple questions. I would strongly advise not financing with this company if you can avoid it.
Dont let them run your credit report. They tell you they are going to run it once. When you check your credit report it has been ran mutiple times. then they give you the run arounds to fix their errors.
No online payment or account options at all. Getting a loan from EnerBank is a reminder of what loans were like 15-20 years ago. You get a coupon book to tear off and mail in with a check every month.
Out dated company, lost mail that I sent to them, tried to send a picture with my iPhone of a change of banks, they said that they are not equipped to do that, never use this bank again.
Great people to do business with. Was able to get 0% interest for 1 year. Paid off and was easy on my cash flow. Thanks to the contractor who referred me to EnterBank USA
