I had to leave my awesome NuUnion Credit Union "Lake Trust now" when we moved from Michigan to Austin, TX. I really wanted a credit union because I had such an awesome experience with NuUnion Credit Union. Well I was totally wishful thinking. I went to the bank today to deposit two checks. I am used to just going up and talking to the teller and giving them my name and account number and maybe my ID. I instead get to talk to a TV. I put my checks in the basket and a young lady gets on the TV and says "can you write your name and account number on the backs of these please?" Okay not a problem. I do as she asked and put the checks in the basket with my ID and account info. The a guy pops on the TV. He says "you have to fill out a deposit slip. Pleased send this back with a deposit slip." Okay, I guess my my ID and account number are not good enough, I have to have yet another piece of paper rolling around with my account number on it. Whatever. I fill out there deposit slip with my account number, name, DL number, check amounts ect..... Then another guy gets on the TV. Three different people to cash some checks? Come on! This guy was looking flustered. He never said anything to me. He was on the TV then gone. Turns out the last guy was a manager of some kind. After all that they put my money in a different persons account anyways! I called and the lady on the phone argued with me saying it was human error and easily fixed. I told her it was lazyness. The other persons account had the same last 4 digits as mine and he also had the same initials. I think someone was cutting corners. Needless to say I will be taking all of my money out of UFCU and putting it some place else.
Horrible representation by one particular UFCU employee. I was having a bad couple of months financially and Lisa Bender called and emailed me. Her collection techniques were so unprofessional! It is one thing to fall behind, but to be treated so rudely by Ms. Bender was uncalled for. I have told and am still going to continue to tell everyone of my experience with UFCU and refer them ELSEWHERE!
I love ufcu. I have never had any problems what so ever with ufcu. I have experienced and have been a member of numerous banks and credit union facilities before i came to ufcu over 5yrs ago. Their customer service has always been impeccable and i recommend ufcu to all my family and friends...ive never been happy with any other financial institution until i came to UFCU.
This is the reason way inleft this bank. Every time I walk in there is only 1-2 people to help and always 30-45 min sitting and waiting. East of time. I left and walked out went over to a faster bank.
"EXCELLENT BANK" Very friendly and great service, with a smile. Amazing how we expect banks and doctors, etc to be perfect, yet we ourselves are imperfect. No one is perfect. Great job UFCU!
This is the worst bank in American history. I would highly recommend finding a different bank. Most horrible people and experience I have ever had.
Very friendly people, they made me feel like i was appreciated. they need to have more locations though.
The ATMs are almost always not working. Making a quick drive by turn into waiting in line inside.
