At first, dealing with this company to handle a debt proved to be... challenging. Whoever I had been talking to was not trustworthy in anything he was saying... I proposed settlement a few times because there was no possible way to pay out of my income (poverty level) Eventually, I reached a certain Rachel Wiley working for WF, and she was great. While no settlement could ever be reached, after saving and saving I was able to make two large payments before my family helped me pay off the rest of the debt. All I wanted to say was that I appreciated how human and kind this particular person had been in talking with me and taking payments. Besides that, being in debt sucks, especially if it came about through hard life events beyond control... but getting it behind you is the best and I recommend NOT dealing with anyone at this company who may be dodgy or reluctant to give receipts or anything you need. Find an agent here that treats you with respect and will work with you as a deserving person. And finally, pay in a way that will not compromise your bank account. They did not overstep with me (besides the horrible and unfair extra fees) but if you get a bad agent... you never know, so be smart.
First of all I would like to say to all tbose tbat left a negative review that a collection agency is made up of people trying to collect a debt thst you didnt pay, its not them coming after people for things they arent responsible for. That being said, i had a recent experience with this company and a debt i had from a school loan. I paid the debt in august and was waiting for it to fall off my credit so i could purchase s home. After waiting for several weeks i became inpatient and called williams & fudge inc, during this call i spoke with a gentlemsn by the name of Andrew, he went above and beyond to help me, not only did he make sure that i was helped he was very kind and personable. I was transfered to Mr. Bob Duenkel who is by the most helpful person i have ever met. He returned my call promptly, helped me to get the item removed from my credit in just 2 short days and also coordinated all necessary steps and paperwork to get a rapid rescore for me so i could get a home loan. I have so many thanks i want to give to these gentlemen for going above and beyond!
Basically my daughter was checking out colleges in our area, went and spoke to a teacher about the type of class she was interested in at the local community college and that was that. My daughter never attended one class, never even spoke to anyone at (Everett Comm. College) again. She went to check out ITT Tech Inst. and enrolled there for the next 3-4 years. Approx. 2-3 months later we get a collection letter (addressed to my daughter demanding payment )for Everett Comm.College for $1048.00. Do they even check to see if the debt is even owed ?. Oh, the collection has already been entered on her Credit report. I personally think if you want to be a reputable company, maybe you should possibly call the consumer and see if the information is correct first before you damage someones credit.
To whom it may concern, This correspondence is to inform you of a job MORE than well done. I, Dominique Finch, have been working with Melissa Berry over the course of the last 2 months and it has been a very pleasant experience. Melissa is well versed, very consistent and persistent, and extremely empathetic in a sense she really wants to help. She has followed up on everything I have asked. She has gone above and beyond to reach out to all parties involved and conclusively resolve an issue with everyone’s best interest at heart. Her professionalism and customer service demeanor is emasculate. I could not have accomplished half of this task without her and I whole heartedly would like to recognize her and share my praise. Thank you, Dominique Finch
They keep sending collection letters to my daughter for college school funds. The U.S. Government issued her financial aide which the College gets their cut right off the top. We had moved out of state due to job transfer. She was unable to attend school, The school sent her a second semester check (which by the way, they took over 900.00 of of the top again) She used the rest to go back to school here. The school which is a red neck backwards college says she owes money, Hello!!! its not your money it was government money and you got your cut! Then they turn it over to these crooks of a collection agency who harass her, she is only 20 years old. They are crooks as well as this school, trying to steal government funds.
This company took a debt of mine from BOA that had been written off by BOA years ago as bad debt. Yes this company claims that BOA hired them to collect the debt. How can this be? BOA has already written it off and received there tax deduction. This company can also or will not prove chain of ownership or that they bought the loan. All they do is send emails- no hard copies. They have already collected 2,000 from me. I plan to write to the south Carolina bar for there inability to follow the law. I will be writing to the SEC ,BBB, and my congressmen and women about this company.
After I notified my school I was going to be transferring to another school because I was unhappy with their program they refused to let me pay my balance and sent it to Williams and Fudge. Julie Kivet the collections advisor who was assigned my case was amazing to deal with. She took extra steps to ensure I was being billed the correct amount and was in contact with me regularly regarding my situation. Very happy with my experience with Julie even though it should have never been sent to a recovery company.
I had an Excellent experience with this company! I have several other collection agencies calling me with rude and harassing collectors. The person who called me took the time to listen to why I was not able to pay my bill and treated me with dignity and respect. I was a little embarrassed and defensive at first but in the end we were able to work out a payment arrangement that worked for both of us. I wish more companies (including collection agencies) treated others like people rather than a task.
My fiancé had a collection go to Williams and fudge and a mix up with payment to her college. I was very worried because of hearing horror stories about collection agencies. Well this experience was as good as it possibly could be. Beth was very very helpful in getting everything taken care of and she was very friendly. She helped the whole situation stay calm and not stressful what so ever. Thanks Beth!!!
I had the same experience as the lady below me in the comments, Julie as well helped me out and I as well had a very bad experience with the actual school. But Julie was THE BEST she helped me to settle everything and not ever have to deal with them again! Thank you so much julie, you rock and if anyone ever wants to deal with this company julie will treat you like her family :) SHE IS THE BEST!!!!!
I had a different experience with them! :) a good one! I am trying to do everything I can to help raise my credit score and pay things off and they have been most helpful! They took the time to answer questions and pointed me in the right direction. Once I faced the fear of "collections" they were there to work with me and help me along me journey to strong credit!
Is this a legit company? Pretty sure they created a debt out of thin air. $700 debt to a college I never attended from over 14 years ago. I spoke to the college a few years back- they never said anything about a debt. Why all of a sudden now? How in the world could a college charge you something 14 years later?
Hated my experience with this collection agency. They kept calling me and when I finally did answer they asked who I was and asked for my SSN and DOB. I kept telling them no and asking them why. They were very rude about it and demanded a payment right then and there. I hope this company burns.
These people are not clear. Being a young student you are not really thinking of what comes after college. Thats massive amounts of money that you have to pay off for yearsss and become a slave to the system enable to stay on top of them. Forget that. Sneaky company.
Very Rude. Daniel Ohlman was not helpful as I tried to explain my situation. Left me feeling guilty for a potential mix up at my University. Told me to "borrow money from my parents". Great Job in "higher education". Businesses Stay Away! (0 Stars)

Even though I am on the No Call List, these sleaze bags looked up my phone number and called me about a debt my daughter owes. If they can find my phone number they can certainly see that it on the Do Not Call list. DON"T TELL ME TO CALL YOUR OMBUDSMAN
NASTY EMPLOYEES. Talk to clients like dogs. Very nasty, rude and definitely not willing to speak to anyone from this collection agency. williams and fudge even went and harassed local family members, for what? less than $600 you guys are a big JOKE!

I been dealing with this company for about 3 months so far, and I must say they did a great job. I worked closely with Justine Sutton and he did everything in his power to make sure I was taken care of! so easy and stress free.
I called on 1/17 around 7:00 pm. The rep was really friendly and I was able to settle everything. I am glad once the debt is paid they remove it from the credit report. That is a big incentive. Thanks! So glad I called!
Worst people ever I honestly hope they get cancer! Harassing not only me but my parents I pay weekly and they tell me to cover it all now or they take it to a creditor, I know there is a special place in hell for them
Horrible company. Due to unemployment I have halted payments, out of a "courtesy" they call me weekly to see if I got a job. A collection company should not be able to harass someone for owing money such as this one
So I just received a letter from this company claiming i owe CCP over $4000. Here is the crazy part. I never attended the school, nor have i ever received any correspondence from this school saying i owe them money
The representative that I recentally spoke to was very rude and not helpful at all. When I was trying to talk to her, she rudely hung up on me without saying bye or have a nice day. Very poor customer service.
Josh Aiton needs to train the other riffraff that works for your company. Nobody likes a debt collector but he is pleasant and solution oriented and realistic. A+ Josh.....F- the others that called me.
I spoke with an MJ Sharp who was very sympathetic to my problems and offered her direct line and asked that I call her if I had any further questions. I really appreciate that from person to person.
I had the pleasure of working with Jessica Forsythe, she is wonderful! Very helpful, informative and encouraging!! Other collection companies would be delighted to have someone like her on board!!!
I recived excellent customer service by Mrs.minor she was great and listening to my problem and got me to the person I needed to resolve my issuse .I appreciate her for going the extra mile.
Terrible company. They do not bother to notify you once you have accounts in collections but begin to collect interest immediately. A strong part of the horrible education system.
Have written and called several times and got no response from this company in re: to a loan that is not reflected anywhere but in their own data base and now the credit bureau.
Very good company and the best rep is Julie. She explains everything step by step of how the process is going to be and very patient. I would recommend it without a doubtm
Edit: My issue seems to have been a simple clerical error that was revolved promptly and kindly. In particular I would recommend Bob Dunkel, he was fantastic!
The guy I spoke with was very rude, no name or anything. Just straight to my ssn and what I owe. You should take an easier approach.
I had a good experience with them.. they let me make my own payment plan until I could pay it off in full for a lesser amount..
Very rude. I needed to cancel a payment and the agent was extremely Hateful. Had to speak with management to resolve issue.
They helped me figure out a payment plan and worked with me to pay on my student account. It has been a good experience.
