I have had an auto loan with this company for 18 months with EVERY payment on time. I have been trying to rebuild my credit and have been meticulous with every payment NEVER being late. I suffered an injury and was out of work for 8 weeks. I contacted them to request a deferrment during my injury. The request was placed 6 days before the next payment was due and I was told it would take 5 days to process. I finally got my answer almost 3 weeks later and I was DENIED! What a slap in the face. I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone. They show no loyalty at all to a good customer.

at first I was happy because after a divorce that destroyed my credit they gave me a loan for a new car. now that I have paid that loan off (4 years early). I waited the 30 days for my title did not receive it called them and was told it was an over site but it would be sent. Im still waiting I checked on my states online services and the title is listed as clear but it was sent to the company not me. and this was on 3/27/14 its now 5/7/14 and I still have not received my title. DONT DO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

Always hunt the hunted if they lie and steal go over there and do something to them personally do not phone chat. No telephone tough guy chat. Go meet them face to face and get the dam job done. Worst costumer service I have ever experienced. Their business practices are more backwards that I have ever seen in my life. I asked them to update my account because it had been locked and after 13 calls they finally did it 6 months late. When I asked to speak with a supervisor about a payment he belittled me and basically lied. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!

I really appreciate the people at Santander. I have went through many things but I can call them and they are willing to work with me each and everytime. My only downfall is that it does seem hard to pay things off and get the main balance down but regardless when I need the help they offer it and for that thank you! First Data, is Santander processing company. This company does not process payments correctly. So if you do not understand your car loan, it means you are paying daily interest from the last payment received. So pay your payment weekly and keep track of all your payments get signature confirmation with all your payments. It is 3.80 at the post office.

Understanding thetruth
They will hold your payment for more interest. I live 20 minutes from Santander, when you mail your payment from the post office across the street from Santander, it does not take 7 days to receive it. The post office will tell the customer exactly the date when the payment will be received. Santander thinks the customer are stupid.

But this is the american dream robbery is not a crime if its a large company with money. What happened to moral and values? I guess it died with my grandparents. Unhappy customer.

There is a class action lawsuit against Santander due to their HORRIFIC and illegal actions. This is a horrible company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have broken several privacy laws as well as giving up Social Security Numbers to distant family members. They are RUINING LIVES. Period.

Santander is not consistent on any level. God forbid you want to set up a payment in a different month denied this month. In the past I have been able to set up two payments in a row all of a sudden I am not allowed. What? Do you want your money? Guess not.

I always had my loan payment drafted from my checking account. When Santander took over my loan from another company, they only drafted $100 instead of the normal $400+ and then said it was MY fault and charged $29 in fees. I HATE PAYING THIS COMPANY!
