I have absolutely no complaints with this bank. I have been with them for almost a year and in that time I have not encountered any hidden fees, issues with my checking or savings accounts, received an auto draft approval in less than 2 hours, received approval for a credit card in less than one hour (and received my credit card in less than 10 business days). After getting married in June my husband and I opened a joint account and once the official marriage certificate came in the mail we quickly updated my name on the account. I do most of my banking at the Andorra Shopping Center location but the one time I went to 9th & Arch I had a brief but pleasant conversation with the teller as she made my deposit. Now that the PC Express feature is available my visits to the an actual branch have been reduced. I make deposits into my account by writing a check and scanning it. The funds become available within 1-2 business days. I prefer the credit union to any other bank and I have dealt with many over the years. The rates are better, they have less fees, and more perks than their competitors. I continue to recommend PFFCU to family and friends and I enjoy the funds I receive for those referrals. :-)
Margie Leaden is absolutely unprofessional. I have been a member for a while and asked very specific questions before I applied for a loan and to not pull my credit if that was the case. I was assured by two of the people there that it was just fine. They contact me saying they need more information and I wait another hour it is supposed to take for them to contact me and after a couple of hours I contact them and I am told (by member services) I was turned down for the reason I asked before they pulled my credit. Obviously, I am not happy at this point so I call Margie Leaden, the person making the decision and repeat what I was told. Margie then says my car is not worth what I am asking, to which I reply "fine, I will pay the $1300 difference and to please not leave me hanging again. No matter the answer, could you please let me know." She said she would look at it again and get back to me. This never happened. No call, email, or message through the system. I have never been treated with such disrespect by a business that I am a member of and handles my money. After my last transaction I will no longer be using any of these services.

I been with this credit union for years and have never had a problem. When applying for a loan I received a response with an hour or two and had they money that day, no other bank will give you a response that quickly. I know because I been with other credit unions and banks and also work for one. Also their rates are the best by far. Most of my banking can be done from a pc or phone no need to go into a branch which is an added convenience to me. I have auto loan, mortage, credit card and IRA from them, they are the best in the business by far!!!!!!
I opened an acct for my daughter in 1988 with her and my name only on the acct. I recently called to check on it for my daughter as she is having financial problems, but somehow someone changed the acct without mine or my daughters knowledge. My former mother and father in laws have banked there for years. Not saying they could change anything legally but something obviously was changed without my consent.

qn august 5th 2009 i made a deposit in mac machine at police station harbison &levick,envelope got stuckIN MACHINE,i requested that a technician be sent to examine mechanics in machine,they said "no can do" just go ahead and have issuer write you a new check which would cost me $40.i was told this 3 weeks after i reported it =-0- stars.and im out $76.bucks
This is a great bank, more often than not I see them offering lower rates on credit and higher returns on balances than the big guys. I have to agree they should replace the atm at the chinatown location and it would be nice if they were open later. I work at 17th and JFK, its tough to race over there after 5:30 when I need to make deposits.
Great institution which has provided me and other police & fire fighters with outstanding service for decades. They have enabled me to live a comfortable financial life with loans & mortgages along with great services to numerous to mention. They have also continued that service to my grown children.

Stop complaining people. Go to a big bank like hellsfargo or jpmorgan Chase or what ever there name is this week. And they dont care about u at all. Police and fire by far is a better banking experience. They helped me with all my accounts in no time friendly people who work there too.
Horrible customer service and dispute resolution dept. outrageous hold times for basic questions i will be moving all of my business to United Bank of Philadelphia. I would rather pay more for better streamlined services.
I love my credit union .i had a bad experience with my account a couple years ago that my account was compromised. I called them and I was told to come in to file a report.I did and receive a new card right away.
I love PFFCU because everyone is friendly & professional. If you have any concerns about your Account it will be addressed immediately. This will be my banking institution always.
They ARE NEVER OPENED WHEN YOU NEED THEM. They need 24 hour customer service because I’ve been locked out my account for 2 days now and I need money.
Close by - definitely a convenient fcu for me to utilize. Seems nice enough, although I typically just use the ATM.
There customers service is great and I never have a problem when I have to come in the bank. Keep up the good job.

Well, while the rates are good and the management of money is ok, the customer service angle could use some work.
PFFCU does a great job with all of your normal checking and their loans are the best.
Great bank but the time it takes to deposit money at this location it frustrating.
