Ive been an avid customer of Capital Pawn for over 2 years and can honestly say ive yet to have had any bad experiences with them or witnessed any from other customers. Not only is this the nicest pawn shop ive ever seen or been to, but their customer service and professionalism is remarkable! They are great guys and its the kind of place where even after just one visit they greet you by your name and make you a friend of the shop and not just another bum off the street like most pawn shops do. They are very fair very experienced and though professional very fun. I recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell ANYTHING. Screw the other shops and their poor selection and stick with Capital Pawn! Im gonna go shoot my Desert Eagle that I just bought from them now...

we had an item that was taken from us and ended up at this pawn shop. it was not known to us that this item was taken. when my husband saw this item, he was shocked. I contacted the owner and explained our situation. He was more than helpful. He gave us back that item and made sure no other items of ours were there, since we knew who took the item. He couldnt have been more understanding. My family really appreciated what he had done for us. I would totally recommend doing business with Capital Pawn. This is an honest business and he wants to do right by the people he serves. Thank you again!!

Great shop! I have not been impressed by the limited amount of pawn shops I have been in. They are dingy and appear to be graveyards to old guns and outdated equipment. Capital Pawn seemed more like a gun shop with a lot of extra things. I went to see the firearms and ended up buying a Ruger Mark III 22/45 at a great price. They had new and used firearms. The shop is put together well and is clean and lighted well. Most importantly, the staff is attentive and extremely professional. Before you buy, do yourself a favor and at least call these people. They might have what you need.

Dan just helped me purchase my first gun!!! He helped me figure out which one would be best for my lifestyle and answered all the questions I had and believe me, I always have a lot of questions... I feel confident and comfortable with my purchase. Dan always makes my shopping experience relaxed and fun. He knows his products and the laws surrounding them. I have had some old jewelery for several years that I have been wanting to sell. I have always been leery of pawn shops. After reading the reviews on here, I decided to give Capital Pawn a try. I am very glad I did. Honest and friendly people there. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and even got more than I ever expected for my broken and old jewelry. Rick was great about showing how he comes up with a price. I would totally recommend them to anyone and will be back in the future if ever I need again.

If you are a veteran, I would definitely recommend this business!! My boyfriend and I had the best experience at this business yesterday. Dan was amazing and helped us get everything we needed and then some. He thanked my boyfriend for his service and gave him a discount for being a vet. I wished more businesses treated their military men and women like this. We will definitely go back. This is the first time writing a review online and they are definitely deserving of this and all 5 stars.

I went to Capital Pawn today with a friend offend looking to purchase his first handgun. Low and behold I found a Taurus that caught my eye. A older guy named Dan answered some questions and had a friend chat with my friend and I. He was not pushy nor did he talk down to either of us which I have had happen in other gun stores. After purchasing the gun I felt as though I had made a new friend, 8i plan to return to capital pawn in the future to buy more guns. Teuly an awesome experience

Courteous. Professional staff ... People selling or pawning their personal items usually do so out of urgent need for money.the typical pawn shop would take advantage of that leaving the customer feeling cheated and humiliated.. Capital pawn has erased those images with a friendly and courteous staff that conduct as professionals that respect and appreciate their customers... Customer service that every business should model itself too...my only regret is only having 5 stars to give..

My incentive to keep coming back to Capital Pawn is not only the items they have, it is that they have them on the self when I can not find them in other pawn shops. I have made a couple of purchases that is unique to Capital Pawn. Each visit has been a pleasant experience, they greet you as you come in and thank you as you leave. Fantastic business. First time I had ever been to this store and I was just astounded by how friendly everyone was. I worked with Dan on my pawn and he was efficient and fast. I had my children with me and instead of being annoyed, the entire staff entertained and talked to them. It was such a positive experience, I am not doing them proper justice in this review. I have had experiences with pawn shops in the past but none compare to Capital Pawn. I was underemployed for nine months and music is my life. Not only did the excellent staff help me provide for my family, but now that I am working a great job again they have been incredible about getting the items I pawned back to me. My favorite thing about Capital Pawn hands down is you do not feel like you are walking in to a shady place. The store has excellent lighting, a very clean appearance, and is very well organized. The staff is very friendly and extremely informative. Not only did they make me a fair offer for my goods but they also showed me exactly what they were basing that information off of. i will definitely be a repeat customer.

During my first visit, I was greeted by many of the staff, and they were very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful, even when busy. Very accommodating for questions. Made a substantial purchase based on their great customer service. Next visit was weeks later, and they immediately remembered me, and called me by name! I was floored. I went to this pawn shop to look for some movies. They had a great selection of movies that was very organized too. The movie prices were just as good as I have seen in any other shop as well. It was a very up-beat and friendly environment unlike many other pawn shops (they tend to be very gloomy). You can tell that they want their customers to be happy and have a good time. Great Pawn shop!!

I took my family and my parents into the shop one weekend. Let me tell you...customer service is hard to find these days. We were greeted by all of the staff and was happy to help, and just talk BS. The experience was pleasant that we enjoyed purchasing a few items. Ever since then, I have been telling my friends about this place. Guns, other cool stuff, and cool people.

They were AMAZING! I was buying my first rifle through them and the wait took forever. Being a woman, i called a lot to check on my process. They were very patient with me and even called in a few times to help me out! All the employees were good to me and i am definitely going back to buy another gun soon! I have used Capital Pawn to receive a number of firearms that I have purchased through on line auctions. These are really a great bunch of people who are attentive, friendly and most of all they know what they are doing. It is a much more pleasant way of doing business rather than listening to the "know it alls" in some of the local gun shops.

Came in today with my sister and Jake helped us, must say it was a very good experience. Jake was very personable and knew what he was doing, he made the experience fast and friendly. As a newcomer to Salem, I was looking for a source of interesting used guns, and found what I wanted at the South Salem Capital Pawn store. The store itself is clean and the staff is friendly. I worked with Dan on a couple of long gun deals and a partial trade and felt I was treated very fairly. Good vibe here.

Went in for a loan nobody knew what i was trying to get a loan on then when they couldnt find anything on the internet they offer twenty less for a piece of history sorry dont need to pay you dummies interest on fifty bucks ! Was looking for a holster for my .357, capital pawn has an excellent selection of quality leather holsters. The staff helped me fit my gun well, and worked with me on the price to fit my budget. Im not from in town so it was nice not having much of a hassle to find a holster. I recommend this place!

Very clean, lots of variety of stuff at really great prices. Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. We have purchased quite a few items there the most recent item being a scope for our sons airsoft rifle. This pawn shop is great with the mix of stuff they have - something for everyone.

My experience at Capital Pawn in Salem, OR was very pleasant. Staff was very curteous and helpful. We got a 60day loan with very reasonable interest fees. Staff also through in 5 PS2 games for my son free of charge, which was an amzing Christmas gift in its self. I highly recommend Capital Pawn.
