Never had a problem with the Morris Plan. I have had two loans through this bank and they have always been willing to work with me if I fall behind. Yes it is annoying they do not have a way the customer can go online and pay their payment but depending on the size of the bank they may not be able to handle those types of transactions. Also in order for banks to make money they have to charge fees. Cash advances (which is probably how your payment is ran when you call in to pay over the phone) are expensive for banks and it should be understood that in order to avoid the additional fee you can mail in a check.
RUDDEST people ever!! We will never do business with them! They loose your payments and then want a double payment from you! We were paying with checks and they lost them and when the checks went through it made our bank account negative and made us have a overdraft fee never made it right.and then we started paying with debit card and they started charging a 5 dollar fee. John is the most annoying person on their pay roll he calls and calls even if you have made your payment and is rude.
Never ever ever ever do business with this company. I have made every single payment on my loan since I got it and always have had problems with these people. No matter what or how I ask I can never get an answer, and they always misdirect your question. I am a calm individual but I am fed up, $300 dollar interest over one month on the latter leg of my loan????, I am filing a complaint with the BBB and demanding an investigation. Stay away!!

Auto debit is how our payments are made each month. Always on time and no issues. If you want to reduce fees, I highly recommend you do the auto pay. My only complaint is the number of months between reporting to the credit bureaus. It is nearly November and they have not yet reported for September or October and both payments have been made. We are working to rebuild our credit so more frequent reporting would be helpful.

Everyone knows during the times right now people are having problems with money. When you get 1 month behind with them they will call you everyday. With that they send you letters every week. There is a man that works there, and his name is John. He is the rudest person I have EVER delt with at a company like this. I DO NOT RECOMEND GOING TRHOUGH THIS COMPANY AT ALL. ESPCIALLY IF YOU FALL BEHIND A LITTLE, EVER.
They sent me a letter giving me 2 days to catch up my account or suffer repossession. UNDERSTAND that is an acceptable consequence!!!! But you mailed on the 28th! I had until the 30th and letter arrived the 1st! When i called to find out what to do this woman starts getting SO VILE. SO RUDE!!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL I was left in tears. NOW just want to dismantle the truck and have them repossess it in pieces.
Understand this is a bank that generally works with people who have low credit scores. I have been with them for the last 3 years and have had zero problems with service. Everyone is professional and polite. There is a $5.00 fee to pay over the phone, but it is worth it to me to be able to pay over the phone instead of through mail or auto pay as I am very paycheck to paycheck.
Do not go through this company. We wasnt even behind and they repoed our truck and we had to pay over 1,000 to get it back, and when we got it back they stole all of our stuff and destroyed our vehicle. John is the rudest person and will not work with you. I would recommened walking before getting a loan through this place. They will rob you for everything you have.

Amazing...when you are behind they will send two, sometimes three, notices in a week. However, when you are current and you ask for a monthly statement...nope. It makes absolutely no sense. Also what kind of a finance company, especially one tied to a large bank, does not have a website and an ability to pay over the internet? The worst...
The bank specializes in higher risk loans & gives 5-10% better rates than most could get on their own, I use them indirectly quite often & they are very busy but give 100% to make sure to take care of their customers!
So terrible and rude! I had gotten a new car and they lost the pay off check from the other dealership! And tried to get more money from me and my husband. Awful people. Never go through them.
Very very rude customer service. I am currently going through medical issues, and they continually call me knowing this. They call my coworkers, and my workplace. Regret going through them...
They approved my wife and I for a car loan when our credit score was under 500. We have now financed two cars through them, and thanks to this, our credit has significantly recovered.
Have had our H3 for two years now, and every time I have called in my payment all representatives have been very nice and helpful. We will use them again for our next auto loan.

I do not love it . It should be rated less than 1 star. They try to rip you off by misapplying or losing your payment then assessing late fees. And john is the rudest person there!

We have had great dealings with the Morris Plan. The only thing I would change is no online payment option, other than that they are great. No issues.
I have never had a problem with them. Seems like they are willing to work with you if things come up. This is my second loan with them, No problems.

People with bad credit are not bad people... Besides who is to say that there are more places to save your money than in the bank (hint hint)
