Ive been living at my house for three years now and my mortgage has been sold to four different companies with loancarr being the latest. Every mortgage company has been pretty smooth with no issues until the day loancare took over. From the very first day they did an additional escrow payment for my county taxes without checking if my previous mortgage company did. So i received a letter from loancare stating that i now owed them money because my escrow was negative. After several phone calls to loancare they insisted that this was my mistake. I called my previous mortgage company and the county tax department who finally issued a refund check but said it would go to loancare. Fast forward another twobweeka of phonw calla to loan care who had no idea of what i was talking about until ifinally had to track the check number from the county that loancare cashed the check. After a manager finally admitted that they recieved the check they said they were going to issue a refund check to me. Two months now and i finally got the refund check but two days after depositing the check i was told the funds were removed because of a stop payment with loancare. After again multiple phone calls with each agent telling me something different the last one finally said "i dont know why a stop payment was issued" and said a new check would be issued that was last week. I checked google reviews and people said they also have had escrow issues withvthis company. I feel like they have been trying really hard to steal my money and asumed i would not be keeping track of my bank account or escrow.if your somehow end up with this mortgager run away screaming.
Is there anybody on here in the process of suing loan care? This company needs to be demolished to the foundation they have caused problem after problem for my mortgage such as charging me mortgage insurance when I have a VA loan and not cashing the cashiers checks I send them then telling me I’m a year behind on my mortgage when I’ve made every payment and have all supporting documents to prove that I sent the payment they just never bothered to cash them. Tried contacting them dozens of times by phone email and even a certified letter with no response to my questions in any of the forms of contact listed above. I even got the VA involved and they’ve had nothing but trouble with these people too. If anyone out there in suing these people please get in touch with me because I have a slam dunk case against them and will be going after them for every possible cent the law will allow. These people are nothing but lying scum and I have made it my life’s mission to ensure they never do this to anyone again! So again if your filing a class action please let me know the more of us that get together and go after these scumbags the more likely we will be successful in shutting them down for good!
pathetic. loancare llc bought my mortgage from wells fargo after ~8years being with them. loancare llc is a truly disgusting, reprehensible company who steals from people. yes, steals. when my mortgage was purchased by this predatory mortgage scam, i had my property taxes and insurance rolled into escrow. ~3 months after my mortgage was purchased by this sham of a company, i was rate shopping for car/homeowners insurance. i switched from the company that i previously had escrowed to a new one, and committed to paying monthly out of pocket. Loancare llc would not remove the old insurance off of escrow, stating a decade old appraisal, saying my mortgage was under water (loan to value of ~110%). when i replied with a week old appraisal, by a state licensed appraiser, showing that my house is valued at over 130k what they have, they told me that they only accept their personal appraisers, state certified means nothing to them. i now have refinanced with a new company, loancare llc does not own my mortgage any longer, but they still refuse to reimburse the 4 months of escrow they wrongly withdrew. i wish herpes upon the owner and all employees of this scum of the earth fraud company
My mortgage was recently sent over to another mortgage company. The other mortgage company thus far (2 weeks) has been easy to contact and work with. However, I received a letter from LOAN CARE 1 week after my loan was transferred stating that my payment for the last year was a lower amount than I actually paid, making the amount going into my escrow account seem much lower. The other mortgage company is opening an inquiry concerning this discrepancy, which LOAN CARE will not even address or talk to me. Since LOAN CARE will not talk with me, my only alternative is to turn the letter from LOAN CARE over to my attorney in hopes clarification can be obtained. The automated phone system used by LOAN CARE constantly keeps me in a loop or sends me to my new mortgage company. I have called the various phone numbers for LOAN CARE multiple times and still do not make any headway in being able to talk with a representative, other than the receptionist. LOAN CARE should be ashamed of themselves for treating their customers with such disrespect.
I have made my house payments on time every month. One month I was in the hospital for surgery and was late on a payment and they had me thinking the way they acted they were going to foreclose on my home. I would receive 4 to 5 phone calls a day. Nasty letters in the mail and one said they were going to send an inspector out to check the property. Then I receive a notification of a certified letter and was unable to pick it up at the post office because I was in the hospital. I try to call them and it would take 15 min just to get through all the prompts. These idiots, I would advise everyone that is thinking of a Loan from these loan sharks to go somewhere else. I am going to refinance ASAP and I really don’t care if my payments even go up just as long I don’t have to deal with these idiots. Just reading the reviews is comical with their responses back. It is a practiced and scripted corporate bull they feed everyone. Response from the owner my foot. At least change it up some it sounds as if your reading a script from a post it note.
I sold my house under a short sale just last month. The law firm that was handling the short sale sent the wire funds transfer that same day. I called Loan Care and was assured that everything was good and I had no outstanding balance. This month, my credit score went from a 750 down to a 545, to which it was stated Loan Care sent them a delinquent notice on my mortgage! When I called Loan Care, they didn’t know the house had been sold, or that’s what they stated and still tried to collect the money from me after I told them the house was sold! They then asked if I had even received permission to sell the house as a short sale...(you can’t enter into a short sale agreement without getting the approval of the loan officer on your account). This is the most unprofessional and unproductive loan agency I have ever worked with and now, thanks to them, I have to repair a mistake made BY THEM, on my own. I wouldn’t even give them one star if I didn’t have too.
Five months to be able to log into their system to pay monthly mortgage. Notified then my insurance renewal was coming up. Was told they make payment in April even though policy expires March 30th. Insurance was cancelled on April 1st. Three phone calls later told it was paid on April 1st. Received two letters from Loan Care LLC telling me I let my property insurance expire and I needed to pay it or they would get a policy which might be much more costly. CLLED again and for the third time told all Supervisors were in a meeting. They would get back to me within three days. 120 days later and three requests and still no phone call. Most incompetent business I ever dealt with. Reported to BBB and to Attorney General Fraud Division since it looks like they pay late on their 600,000 loans any bill due even though money is available in Escrow to make interest money illegally.
Loancare is an Extremely Frustrating company to deal with. I have wasted many hours on the phone and via email trying to get my Escrow adjusted to keep my monthly payment below a certain amount and was told to do different things by different Loancare represenitives. After sending a check and letter requesting the adjustment as instructed, the monthly payment amount did not change. After that, I talked with a lady who seemed to know how to get the deal done but ultimately they just refunded all of my escrow overage without any explanation. Basically Loancare gave me the Screw You, we don’t want to work with you treatment. I have Mortgages with other lenders and an Escrow buy down has never been a problem with any of them. The name of this company should be LoanDontCare.
This company has horrendous customer service. It was good while they were polling callers about their experience but now that that polling is over they are absolutely awful and rude. I got left on the phone (not on hold) while she complained and laughed and chit chatted with her coworkers, then when she came back to me she refused to give me her employee# again and hung up. I called back to speak with a manager and was told that none were available (shocking), she took a message and verified my cel phone#. A manager called my office line (over the weekend) instead of my cell # and left a partial message that got cut off after 10 seconds. I have also been given wrong and conflicting information by different people regarding an inquiry I emailed.
worst possible experience - These folks called to "welcome" me to their service and asked me to call their service center where they "agents are available till 10PM EST!". So I diligently called, then diligently waited on hold for 20 mins while the VRU recounted how important I was to them, and how I should "please hold, as an agent will be available to talk shortly." I guess "shortly" needs to be redefined by Websters. I gave up at 21 mins. Did call back for identical experience. Obviously these folks have never read a book on customer service. or service quality (tho they did get some nice engaging scripts for their VRU).
Loancare sold my load to Fairway a few months ago but I never received notification from them. Unfortunately my March 2016 payment was sent inadvertently to Loancare instead of Fairway. For over a month I have been calling Loancare customer service and I have been told that my money would be returned, however I am yet to receive it. Every time I call their customer support number I am on hold for at least half an hour and I get the same run around as the last time I called. Their customer support supervisors are of no help at all. If you are thinking on doing business with this company I suggest you find some one else.

Terrible loan company. My mortgage was unfortunately sold to Loan Care. They have been double auto drafting my mortgage payment and refusing to refund my money. I have an inquiry open with the Better Business Bureau, and I suggest everyone else on here dealing with this company do to do the same. I would simply turn off the auto draft to stop them from stealing from me, but, after reading the reviews here, I was afraid that if I paid by check, they would pretend to not receive it on time and charge exorbitant late fees. This is an awful company and I will be refinancing to another company as soon as possible.
I had the worst luck with these individuals: from getting hung up on every single time I called. Or they would not answer any of my questions or they said it would take up to one month to receive documents! However, today I called customer service once again and got a man with the ID #8781- he helped with every single thing I needed. He got me all the information I needed and helped me log back into my account ( I have not been able to login for a month or so now.) The documents the other person said would take about a month or so he emailed to me within 15 min! If you ever see this 8781 I thank you!

we have been making payments to Loancare. The statement for Sept 2017 came from Lakeview Loan Servicing and stmt said to make pmt to them. A very rude customer service rep returned my call and informed me that nothing has changed and so what stmt said to do. I asked to speak to a supervisor as her answer was not acceptable. Yep, you guessed it, she put me back into the never ending loop. I was in the mortgage banking industry for many years and I never saw so many bad customer service reviews. I would have fired the whole " non-service" customer service dept.
