I went to gem pawn brokers to see if I can retrieve my jewelry in august. I am a regular customer of Gem pawn I buy merchandise from this business, I am also a United States Disabled veteran, I have been very sick receiving cancer treatment at Sloan -Kettering I went into Gem pawn to pay down on a item that I had on hold for some time due to the fact that I was sick I explained my situation to Craig the manager and he was not very understanding with me he kept stating to me that my item is going to be sold and is going to auction, I tried to explain to Craig the manager that the item has meaning it was given to me by my mother and that I really can not loose it. Craig kept saying there was nothing he could do, I came in with the money but I was few dollars short. I never put a value on greed, see my mother died from cancer and that bracelet is part of her memory I should have never pawned it to helped with bills. Thank you for not being so understanding Craig

What a wonderful experience I had! I went in to sell a few things and the employee, Tania was such a joy to work with. She was able to explain to me in detail the value of my items and give me the most money possible. GO TO GEM PAWNBROKERS IT WAS SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

Worst Pawn shop ever!!! The people are extremely unfriendly, gave me attitude immediately for no reason, and basically told me to get lost. WARNING.... VERY SHADY PEOPLE!!! Come here if you want your day to be ruined.
