Each call is worse than the last. I am not mad I owe them money. That is my responsibility. I am mad that I need certain information from them about my loans that I cannot get because each time I call in over and over and over and explicitly state exactly what I need, I hear the same promise that the representative understands and will E-mail me the information and have to wait a few days to get that information E-mailed to me, and every single time, it has been a document showing general information that is easily found on the website without calling them not even close to what I have gone over a hundred times with them. Each time I tell them the same story with a new call to add to the story about how what I need is never given to me and each call ends up with different, equally obvious information which is far from what I need. What useless customer service.

EVIL Company they take advantage of 18 year olds trying to go to college and give them a ridiculously high interest rate and change things without telling you, they DO NOT help you if you have financial troubles! YOU will be making a deal with devil, get your student loans from a bank, they will be much helpful!!!! SALLIE MAE is horrible! STAY AWAY!!

This company extorts money from college students by preying on their youthful lack of knowledge of finances. Companies that handle student loans, especially federal student loans should absolutely not be allowed to be for profit. Shame on you Sallie Mae, and shame on everyone who works there.

They called me 9 times in one day, i finally answer, its an automated system telling me to call them, i call back and I had to wait for 15 minutes, and come to realize it was because they made a mistake. If you are in college, use any loan company besides this.

Rude customer service.They also make process more complicated thus confusing the caller. The agent girl became loud and harsh when I told I could not understand. They did not tell me interest rate even the loan was approved after long inquiries for 2 times.

Really wish my parents had a better idea about this kind of stuff 5 years ago when I was looking for loans. Paying about 1500 a month without a full time job and they refuse to lower payments. Government needs to step in and stop these scumbags.
