Only gave them one star because zero stars is not an option.. Their App is terrible, so choppy, takes forever to load, minimal bank features.. I usually have a problem with my debt card once a month, just because I bought something not in the city I live but the city right next to me they flag your account and shut your card off.. Oh I hope it is not on a weekend or after 5pm because they have no debt card support outside of 8-4pm M-Fri.. And if your card is flagged you cant even take money out of the ATM if your enter your PIN and everything.. Customer Service is prob a D+ at best usually they blame you for the card issues.. This place sucks I cant wait for my loan to be done so I can shut my account down... DO NOT BECOME A MEMBER.. OUR/Genisys/Michigan First/ all much better Credit Unions
this place is a cruel joke, do not put your money in this place. I have a BUSINESS account, with my name on it. Had the account for 20 years., Stupid black woman teller tells me I cannot deposit a check or cash it because it is made out to me personally. My name is the only name on the business account, stupid idiot, the manager (also stupid black woman) tells me the same thing even though I have done this probably 100 times before. the teller last time told me I have a different birth date on the account? what ?? never heard that in 20 years, these people are puppet drones, and they cant even do that right. My friend opened that account for me. so I KNOW it was right. In short STAY AWAY, think I will be closing my accounts with them soon. IDIOTS, hope you are reading this.
So I had a business account which had someone try to fraud me using a ACH. I told cr Union close acct and take the money over well instead they allow the fake company steal my money than when the company tried to take a big amt which I did not have that type of money they charges me two 30 fees than closed my acct and charge me a fee to close my acct. So its bad enough I had someone stealing from me than the cr union stealing from me as well. I went to main branch was made to wait over a hour than spoke to someone and they said someone will call me and lady called me and said sorry sir but the fees are valid. Beware of this cr union I had poor cust service before and they not cared. FYI cr union still on old ATM as well.
I have left this credit union because the customer service is so poor. I do not understand this institution exists. Even if you try the automated system, you will suffer long wait, confusing options and excuses. One rep answered on one incident after I waited a 1/2 hour on hold, then hung up on me. They are only interested in capturing your money in exchange for ghetto customer service. I switched to Huntington Bank - They are quick, have auto loans that auto dealers seek after because of their rates. You can call Huntington bank after midnight and they still have customer service available. I do not know how this place exists with such sub par, horrible, inexcusable customer service. Been a member for years and hated every min of it...terrible service , their systems have gone down at least 2 times in the last year (when system is down you cant access your money!!) They simply dont appreciate customers .I once was told i could get a 2ed debit card and so i took a day off work to go there to get it and when i arrived they told me thats not possible and that whoever told me that on the phone was wrong(no compensation was given to me even after i asked for my missed day of work) This credit union should be avoided! There are many better credit unions in the area
Been on hold to ask a simple general question, for over 13 minutes before the call was answered. Employee was polite, but it did not make me feel better when he indicated they have been backed up like this for weeks. Sounds like they do not care enough about customers to respect our time and answer questions in a timely manner. Comerica allows you to call their branch offices directly and they always pick up. I thought credit unions were more focused on customer service, but I guess not...
I started a checking account yesterday there. Its a really nice place and everyone was super friendly. Overall very happy I picked this place. The only reason why I put 4 stars instead of 5 was because I thought it was kinda funny that there TVs and computers look like the first ever made. But oh well not a major issue.
Worst service EVER!!! The customer service rep in the call center had such a condescending attitude. I requested the branches direct number she refused to give it to me. I wish I could give less than one star. They will never receive my business or the business of any person I talk to.
They are awful, rude, slow, disrespectful and pathic. The manager is the worse of all in the Farmington (Hills) branch. Customer service is not their focus. Not sure what is... They are lazy and have no regard for the shareholders.
IF YOU EARN LESS THAN $6,000 MONTHLY YOU ARE WORTHLESS TO CREDIT UNION ONE. THEY DISCRIMINATE, HOLD YOUR PAST AGAINST YOU AND THE LOAN OFFICERS AND MANAGERS ARE UNPROFESSIONAL
